4. How do I clean my cabinet?
Stainless steel is one of the most resilient materials available for a wide range of household and industrial uses. Its chromium film is responsible for its resistance to rust and tarnish, and with proper care, this film can provide protection for many years. The integrity of the film can be damaged by dirt and other contaminants however, so stainless steel must be cleaned regularly with safe cleaning products. Scrub off any pieces of food, grease, and fingerprints from your appliance surface. A microfiber cloth and a mild detergent like dish soap, work well for the initial cleaning of the stainless steel appliances. Only use a few drops of the mild detergent so it doesn’t leave behind a soapy residue while cleaning. ALWAYS RUB WITH THE GRAIN OF THE STAINLESS STEEL. Rubbing against the grain could leave permanent scratches. Rinse with clean hot water only, and dry immediately with a clean cloth. You can also try buffing away streaks with mineral oil, or using a special stainless steel cleaner.
